Regulation measures and procedures for the prevention of the introduction and spread of organisms harmful to plants, plant products and other regulated objects.

This Regulation determines the measures for the prevention of the introduction and spread of organisms harmful to plants, plant products and regulated objects in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia as a part of the European Union (EU); the lists of harmful organisms, plants, plant products and regulated objects to which these measures refer; the procedures upon import, export and transit and the methods of official examination; the form and content of phytosanitary certificates and phytosanitary certificates for re-export; the content of an application; the conditions for the issuance of phytosanitary certificates; and the measures in the case of non-compliance with phytosanitary requirements in accordance with: Council Directive 2000/29/EC of 8 May 2000 on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community as last amended by Commission Implementing Directive 2014/19/EU of 6 February 2014 amending Annex I to Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community; Council Directive 2006/91/EC of 7 November 2006 on control of San José Scale; Council Directive 74/647/EEC of 9 December 1974 on Control of Carnation Leaf-Rollers. The lists of harmful organisms and lists of plants, plant products and regulated objects that are regulated by the Act governing plant health protection are determined in Annexes I, II, III, IV, V and VI of Directive 2000/29/EC.
