Regulation on more detailed criteria for forest damage assessment.

This Regulation provides for criteria for assessing the damage from natural and other disasters and form massive outbreaks of plant diseases and pests in forests.
Forest damage consists of the cost of restoring the forest to pre-disaster conditions in the younger developmental stages of the forest, the loss of net yield in the earlier developmental stages of the forest, and the costs necessary to restore the forest roads and forest order to the pre-disaster condition. The extent of such damage shall be determined by development stages of the forest, separately for forest stands, forest roads and on the basis of a preliminary assessment, which shall be made on the basis of viewing, aerial, satellite or other recordings. Damage to forest roads or forest trains shall be equal to the cost of carrying out the work necessary to restore them to the condition which was prior to the accident.
