Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 37 articles and six Annexes, establishes provisions concerning treatment of biodegradable waste and the conditions of the use and marketing of biodegradable processed waste. This Regulation applies to biodegradable waste specified in Annex 1. For the purposes of these provisions, biodegradable waste means anaerobic or aerobic biodegradable waste. This Regulation is divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Principles (Sec. 2); Requirements for treatment of biodegradable waste (Sec. 3); Treatment of mixed waste before disposal (Sec. 4); Qualisty of compost (Sec. 5); Obligations of the operator (Sec. 6); Additional requirements for treatment (Sec. 7); Environmental permits for waste recovery (Sec. 8); The use of compost (Sec. 9); Requirements for unrestricted use (Sec. 10); Control (Sec. 11); Penalty provisions (Sec. 12); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 13).
