Regulation on the register of fishing vessels and vessels used in mariculture.

This Regulation specifies the necessary conditions and rules for the registration and removal of fishing vessels from the register of fishing vessels and the register of vessels used in mariculture and the allocation of a single identification number of a fishing vessel or a vessel used in mariculture. A fishing vessel may be entered in the register of fishing vessels: 1. for which state aid has never been received for the permanent cessation of fishing activities in any member state of the European Union (hereinafter: member state) in accordance with the sixth paragraph of Article 22 of Regulation 1380/2013/EU; 2. for which the license for commercial fishing has never been permanently revoked for the reasons set out in Article 14 of the Marine Fisheries Act; 3. which is entered in the register of ships or the register of marine boats at the competent authority for maritime affairs as a fishing vessel, the purpose of which is to use it as an economic activity in accordance with maritime regulations. Article 4 defines the terms of application for registration in the register of fishing vessels.
