Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down provisions concerning routine tests, treatment of semen of porcine species in collection centers, the conditions for trade in semen of porcine species in the territory of the European Union and import from third countries. In particular, all animals arriving to the collection center must come from farms and breeding centers which are under permanent veterinary control and must be inspected and free of diseases that are specified in Annex B of Directive 90/429/EEC. All animals in the approved collection center must be reviewed at least annually to diseases specified in art. 3. This Regulation is composed of 16 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Routine tests (Sec. 2); Methods of treatment (Sec. 3); Conditions of entering animals to collection centers (Sec. 4); Trading in the territory of the European Union (Sec. 5); Import from third countries (Sec. 6); Prohibition and other measures (Sec. 7); Control in the centers (Sec. 8); Final provisions (Sec. 9).
