Abstract
This Regulation sets out specific requirements for the labelling and presentation of pre-packaged foodstuffs intended for sale to the final consumers, including catering establishments.
This text implements the Regulation (EU) No 1095/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority), amending Decision No 716/2009/EC and repealing Commission Decision 2009/77/EC; and is in accordance with the provisions of the Directive 2011/91/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2011 on indications or marks identifying the lot to which a foodstuff belongs.
Expired food issues are listed in article 3; nutritional labelling in article 3a.
