Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 29 articles and five Annexes, lays down: (1) procedure for determining threshold values for groundwater quality; (2) parameters specifying the chemical and quantitative status; (3) groundwater quality standards; (4) threshold values for groundwater quality; (5) conditions ofgood quantitative and chemical status; (6) criteria for the identification of significant trends in pollution; (7) additional requirements for preparing an action plan for groundwater. For these provisions groundwater quality standard means the standard of environmental quality, expressed as the concentration of a particular pollutant, group of pollutants or indicator of pollution in underground water, to protect public health and the environment.
