Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down provisions governing: (1) monitoring of the traceability of transport of veterinary medicine; (2) monitoring of the use of veterinary medicines; (3) liability of keepers, veterinarians and veterinary organizations; (4) storage of veterinary medicines; (5) keeping the necessary records. In particular, the subject to veterinary controls are: (1) traceability of the use of veterinary medicines by legal and natural persons engaged in the transport of medicines; (2) prescription, supply, storage and administering to animals; (3) use of veterinary medicines and related traceability of the purchase of medicines; (4) management of all the required information to ensure traceability of veterinary medicines from the wholesaler to the consumption. This Regulation is composed of 21 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Ensuring traceability (Sec. 2); Records (Sec. 3); Veterinarians from other Member States of the European Union running from time to time services in Slovenia (Sec. 4); Immunology (Sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 6).
