Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of nine articles, lays down rules for the issuance and certification of veterinary documents. Veterinary documents can be confirmed by official veterinarians of the Veterinary Association of the Republic of Slovenia. The veterinarian certifying documents must have sufficient knowledge of veterinary legislation, know procedures of licensing and certification of veterinary documents, and know tests and investigations to be carried out to verify warranties and statements of veterinary documents. Veterinarians confirming the documents must be impartial and have no direct economic interest in connection with the principal veterinary document. The Veterinarian Association carries out checks and other control measures to prevent the issuance of false or misleading veterinary documents.
