Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down zootechnical and genealogical conditions governing the importation of pure-bred breeding animals, their semen, ova and embryos from third countries. This Regulation also establishes the content and method of dissemination of pedigree documents for the import of breeding material from third countries and means of verifying the identity of breeding material at the border. These provisions do not regulate veterinary conditions for import of breeding material from third countries and the import of breeding material for technical or scientific experiments carried out under the supervision of the competent authorities. This Regulation is composed of 16 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Conditions of importation (Sec. 2); Semen from untested animals (Sec. 3).
