Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down provisions governing zootechnical checks and pedigree control on breeding animals, their semen, ova and embryos in intra-Community trade, as specified in Chapter 2 of Annex A to the Council Directive 90/425/EEC concerning veterinary and zootechnical checks applicable in intra-Community trade in certain live animals and products with a view to the completion of the internal market. Zootechnical checks and inspections of breeding material which is intended for trade in the European Union, are carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, agricultural inspection and recognized breeders organizations, each within its jurisdiction. Requirements for trade in breeding material are specified in art. 4.
