The Strategy for the conservation and sustainable management of the lynx (Lynx lynx) in Slovenia for the planned period from the year 2016 until the year 2026 contains: an introduction that includes key data on the biology and distribution of the animal species; list of regulations that represents actual legal basis for the adoption of this Strategy; an analysis of the threat of animal species and its habitat; an analysis of existing conservation measures; definition of specific conservation goals, in particular the size of the population and the level of habitat conservation, which are necessary for the conservation of lynx animal species in a certain area; definition of all strategic activities necessary to achieve related conservation goals.
