Strategy for the development of non-governmental organizations and volunteering until 2023.

The Strategy for the development of non-governmental organizations and volunteering until the year 2023 sets the aims and objectives meant for realization of the vision of the development of non-governmental organizations and volunteering organizations with strategic orientations. The fundamental strategic goals of this Strategy are: 1. Well-developed, efficient and innovative non-governmental organizations that are able to adequately identify and address the needs of their environment and respond to them effectively and successfully; 2. Connected, stable, less fragmented and sustainably-oriented non-governmental organizations; 3. Quality-organized and sustainably-oriented volunteering, which is widely recognized as a value and significantly contributes to social well-being. The fundamental strategic goals shall be achieved with three concrete goals that support each other: 1. strengthening the integration and efficiency of non-governmental organizations in responding to social challenges and needs, 2. strengthening the cooperation of the state with non-governmental organizations and 3. the development of quality volunteerism in all segments of society.
