Act no. 189/2009 on organic farming.

This Act, which is composed of 15 paragraphs and one Annex, lays down: (a) some rules on organic farming; (b) competence of state organs in the area of organic farming; (c) rights and obligations of persons engaged in an ecological agricultural production; (d) registration of operators and inspection bodies; (e) details on the performance of organic farming control; (f) labeling of organic agricultural products; (g) penalties for violating obligations established by this law. Products of organic farming are marked with graphical sign of organic farming specified in the Annex.
