Abstract
The Act, which is composed of 16 Sections and two Annexes, lays down provisions on State administration care with regard to environmental protection. The authorities concerned are the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, regional and divisional organs on environmental protection, as well as the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate. The Act defines liability, organization and functioning of the above-mentioned institutions. Annex 1 contains the lists of locations of regional and divisional organs. Annex 2 specifies locations of divisional inspectorates.
