Decree on economic arrangement of forests and on forest protection.

The Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 47 articles and 11 Annexes, establishes provisions concerning the economic arrangement of forests and further sets out provisions on forest protection. In particular, it provides for the classification of forests into categories and subcategories. It also sets out (i) criteria for carrying out the national inventory of forests and for monitoring forests; (ii) rules for protecting forests from abiotical and biotical harmful factors; (iii) provisions concerning the protection of forests from fires.
