Ordinance laying down requirements for the marketing of cereal seed.

This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 19 articles and four Annexes, lays down: types of cereal varieties which are the subject to the registration and requirements to be satisfied by seed for their production and marketing; requirements for the production of cereal seed; requirements for the characteristics and quality of cereal seed; conditions of marketing of cereal seed; conditions of importation of cereal seed from countries which are not European Union member states; details on packaging and labeling of cereal seed; the manner and extent of control and recognition of cereal seed placed on the market. This Ordinance does not apply to seed intended for export to third country and does not apply to seed intended for cultivation for ornamental purposes.
