Agreement between the Republic of San Marino and the Republic of Italy concerning the recovery through ecofriendly methods of particular waste and hazardous waste produced within the San Marinese territory.

The Parties hereby agree to allow the importation into the Italian territory of special waste and hazardous waste produced in the territory of San Marino for recovery purposes. Such waste shall be subjected to ecofriendly recovery or recycling methods. The competent Italian authority shall be entitled to refuse the importation of waste whenever it deems that the aforementioned conditions may not be fulfilled.
