Decree No. 131 concerning the compulsory labelling system for beef.

Pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000, the present Decree establishes rules regarding the labelling of beef. All operators engaged in the marketing of beef shall label their beef and beef products accordingly. In particular, the information specified by article 3 shall be shown in the labels. The aim is to ensure a link between, on the one hand, the carcass or pieces of meat and, on the other hand, the animal. Beef which is not labelled as prescribed by this Decree shall not be imported into San Marino.
