Abstract
The present Decree establishes health police rules governing the trade in aquaculture animals and products between San Marino and EC countries, pursuant to the provisions laid down in Directive 91/67/EEC.
After Chapter 1 of the Decree has laid down general provisions, Chapter 2 deals with the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and products. Specific health requirements are established therein, particularly with respect to the diseases referred to in Annex A. Further provisions regard the approval of farms. Additional requirements are prescribed in respect of live fishes belonging to the susceptible species mentioned in Annex A, column 2, list II (art. 7). Article 8 concerns the requirements to be met by live molluscs destined to the market. Article 11 regards the documentation that must accompany the consignments during transportation.
