Abstract
This Law declares the Somali territorial sea to include "the portion of the sea to the extent of 200 nautical miles within the continental and insular coasts delimited in accordance with the provisions of articles 2 and 3 of this Law" (art. 1). Articles 2 and 3 contain rules of measurement of the Territorial Sea. Article 4 defines Internal Waters and Maritime Ports. "Fishing in the Territorial Sea and regular transportation of persons and goods between Somali Ports are reserved for vessels flying the Somali flag, and other authorized vessels" (art. 5,1).
