Act of 21 May 2024, amending the Environmental Framework Act.

This Act amends the Environmental Framework Act published in the Official Gazette no. 97 of 2020. Amendments concern: introduction of new terms and definitions including: attack, as any act or omission adversely affecting the quality of the environment; waste; compensation; Free Prior Informed Consent; contaminant; hazardous substance; environmental audit; environmental impact assessment; environmental inspector; environmental quality standards; environmental permit; National Environmental Authority; pollution. Further amendments include: ministerial powers; tasks and powers of National Environmental Authority; approval of budget of the authority and financial reporting; compliance with international agreements.
