Cadastre and Land Information System Act (Stb No. 149 of 2009).

This Act concerns the establishment of a Management Institute for a Land Registration and Land Information System (MI-GLIS), its functions, organization and administration and the content and functioning of the public registers concerning land. The Institute has as main task maintaining and keeping up-to-date the public registers about goods that require registration (rights on immovable property, ships and airplanes). There shall be an official GLIS Land Surveyor, the duties of which are defined by this Act. This public officer shall carry out control of activities of sworn land surveyors. The Institute may decide on consolidation or division of parcels of land.
