Abstract
This Decision, implementing articles 11, 13 and 17 of the Meat and Other Animal Products Inspection Act of 2017, concerns measures for: slaughtering animals; processing, storing, selling, importing and exporting slaughtered animals and animal products; defining procedure, form and fee for the processing of the application for a veterinary permit for the operation of a slaughtering establishment specific for the poultry sector. The Decision provides for: compensation measures for the process of authorisation and issuance of permits; proof of veterinary health examination; compliance with technical and hygienic requirements; guidelines for processing meat and meat products from slaughtered animals; costs for obtaining the veterinary permit for an establishment for slaughtering animals.
