Decree of the Minister of Natural Resources No. 228 of 2000 implementing section 46 of the Forestry Management Act 1992 relative to the Forestry Register.

This Decree lays down further rules relative to the registration of traders in and transporters of timber and other forest products, and means of transportation of such products. Each person who commercially transports or trades in timber products shall be registered in the Forestry Register that shall be kept by the Chief National Forestry Management. Means of transport shall be registered yearly. The transport vehicles shall be provided with a transport pass. If registration as trader or transporter is refused by the Chief, appeal may be lodged with the Minister of Natural Resources within a month after receipt of notice of refusal. (7 articles)
