Abstract
This Act establishes rules regarding electricity production and supply, in order to promote availability, affordability, sustainability, and environmental protection in the electricity supply sector. This Act concerns: electricity producers; electricity company; inspection authority; sustainable electricity supply; state-owned enterprises; electricity sector plan. Matters covered by this Act include: duties and powers relating to the electricity supply sector; duties and powers of the authority, including collecting data and producing statistical information, monitoring compliance with international agreement on the matter, providing instructions to consumers regarding the application of energy efficiency guidelines; preparation and content of the Electricity plan; duties and responsibilities of the electricity company; electricity tariff; dispute resolution; administrative sanctions.
