Abstract
This Act establishes the Energy Authority of the Republic of Suriname, as the governing body in the energy supply sector. According to the provisions of the Act the Authority works to promote availability, affordability, sustainability, and environmental hygiene in the energy supply sector. The Act establishes roles and responsibilities of the Director and of the Supervisory Board; details financial provisions.
