Abstract
This State Decree sets out the conditions that must be met for transfer of domain land in leasehold (form of ownership) to private persons. A piece of land may not be larger than 2500 square meters and may be allocated only to persons having the Suriname nationality and being resident in Suriname. Each year the Minister shall establish the price per square meter and areas that be transferred from the domain to private property. The transfer shall be done on the basis of an Allocation Decision of the Minister.
