Presidential Compact on Water and Sanitation.

This document of the President of South Sudan, directs, on behalf of the Government, measures to be undertaken in respect of water supply and sanitation, notably creating an enabling environment for the WASH sector through identification of policy gaps, development and review of policies, strategies and guidelines, as well as ensure that the Water Bill 2015 is enacted into law and strengthening the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation by an increase in budget allocation and the strengthening of systems for WASH data collection, monitoring and reporting including setting up a stakeholder water, sanitation and hygiene platform for donor coordination, alignment, harmonization of activities and potential co-financing
