Decree-Law No. 17/2011 approving the Statute of the National Council for Disaster Preparedness (CONPREC).

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the National Council for Disaster Preparedness (CONPREC). The Statute, consisting of 7 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and competencies of the above mentioned environmental institution, entitled to prevent and respond to natural disasters through the direction and coordination of any related activity; to support the development of arid and semi-arid zones of the country; to manage and organize human resources, etc.
