Decree No. 52/2013 approving the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development.

This Decree, consisting of 21 articles and 1 Annex, approves the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (MAPDR). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Ministry, entitled to implement Government policies related to food security, cooperatives, conception, implementation, coordination and assessment of the policy approved by the Council of Ministers in domain such as: agriculture, livestock, forestry, fisheries and rural development. The Ministry aims at promoting and guaranteeing the agrarian research, the technical assistence to farmers and animal breeders, to fisher person and to organizations of the rural cadaster.
