Abstract
This Law approves the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe. The main objective of the Bank is to achieve and maintain the stability of the purchasing power of the national currency in the domestic market. The Central Bank shall act to promote and maintain the stability of the financial system. In addition, the Central Bank shall support the general economic policy of the Government.
