Abstract
This Resolution approves the General Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe and the Government of the Republic of Ghana, signed in São Tomé on the 19th October 2021. This bilateral Agreement aims to promote, within the limits of capabilities and resources, Economic, Technical, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation based on equality and mutual benefit and in accordance with their respective Laws and Regulations. The Agreement's areas of cooperation cover, in particular: 1. Commerce; 2. Agriculture; 3. Industry; 4. Mining; 5. Education and Scientific Research; 6. Culture and Creative Arts; 7. Health; 8. Environmental Protection; 9. Tourism; 10. Small and medium-scale cooperation and artifacts; 11. Youth and Sports; 12. Urbanization and Housing; 13. Transport; 14. Information and Communication Technology; 15. Energy; 16. Finance and Investment; 17. Infrastructure development; 18. Defense and Security; and 19. Civil Aviation.

This Agreement enters into force on the date of signature and will remain in force for a period of 5 years, renewable for additional periods of 5 years, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
