Law No. 1 of 21 February 2007 establishing the Agricultural Air Unit.

This Law aims at the establishment of the Agricultural Air Unit in order to fight and face epidemics, insects and fires. It is composed of 17 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 3 pertains to equipment and airplanes of the Unit. Article 4 entrusts the Syrian Air Forces to offer assistances and to train specialists for the Unit. Article 6 subjects resolutions and decisions of the Unit to the ratification and approval of the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform. Articles 7 to 16 deal with general provisions related to the Unit such as management, employment, incomes and the like.
