Law No. 8 of 2023 exempts the process of importing cows for breeding purposes from customs duties, taxes, and other fees.

This legislation, consisting of three articles, outlines the following provisions: (i) cattle imported for breeding purposes shall enjoy a five-year exemption from customs duties, taxes, and other fees starting from the enactment date of this law; (ii) import licenses will be issued contingent upon prior approvals from the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform.
