Legislative Decree 39 of 2012 amending Legislative Decree 78 of 2011 establishing the General Authority for the management, development and protection of desert lands. (al-Badia).

This Legislative Decree consisting of 3 articles aims at amending articles 9, 10, and 11 of the Decree of 2011 instituting the Authority for the management, development and protection of desert lands. Article 9 lists the authorities of which the new body takes the place at the local level (of the provinces). Article 10 provides for the transfer of employees. Article 11 provides for work conditions of temporary workers and contractors of the previous Authority until the expiry of the terms of their contracts.
