Legislative Decree No. 11 of 1991 establishing the General Committee for Environmental Affairs.

This Legislative Decree is composed of 5 Sections dinided into 9 articles. Section I deals with definitions and terms. Section II provides for the objectives and tasks of the General Committee for Environmental Affairs which are: environmental protection; pollution fighting; education and planning in environmental protection; and sea and air pollution control. Section III defines duties of the Minister of Environmental Affairs. Section IV deals with the composition and duties of the High Council for Environmental Security. section V contains general provisions.
