Legislative Decree No.25 of 2010 - Seafarers' Book.

This Decree consisting of 9 articles establishes that (i) the logbook issued by the General Directorate for Ports is required for Syrians operating on ships off Syrian territorial waters; (ii) the sea ticket for those who do not cross Syrian territorial waters; (ii) the Minister of transportation issues the rules regarding the logbook, the sea ticket and Marine Services Certificate (emission, renewal, duration, etc.) in line with International maritime conventions. The fees for the aforementioned documents are listed in Article 5.
