Resolution No. 12/T of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation establishing an Agricultural Quarantine Centre in Latakia.

This Resolution provides for the creation of the Agricultural Quarantine Centre in Latakia under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. This Centre aims at the protection of the Syrian territory from the entry of plant epidemics, and at carrying out the sanitary control on imported and exported agricultural consignments in order to assure that they are free from pests and diseases as well as they comply with Syrian quarantine rules and laws.
