Abstract
This Resolution defines requirements and conditions for the utilization of waters used for olive pressing (marc waters) in agricultural lands which are: waters resulted from the physical treatment of olives and waters used for washing of equipment and instruments can be used for agricultural lands; materials resulted form the treatment of olives can be used as an organic for soil and fertilizers; prohibition of the drainage and disposal of marc waters in public waters, rivers and springs; owners of olive pressers shall collect marc waters in tanks hermetically sealed to be distributed delivered in forests and afforestation sites in accordance with the indication of forest departments; methods and systems used for the delivery and distribution of marc waters in agricultural lands shall not cause the erosion of soil; lands in which the use of marc waters is prohibited; and, training of specialists to use the modern technology for the distribution and delivery of marc waters. Article 2 contains offences and penalties.
