This Resolution aims at creation of a Centre for Shami Goats Research submitted to the Agricultural Sceintific research Department-Animal Production Research Division. Its competence includes the establishment of the characteristics of this species, the study of its productive capacity and nutrition needs. The Centre shall also study reproduction patterns and adaptation to the local environment. Breeding techniques are to be modernized so as to increase their economic value.
