Resolution No. 4 of 1999 adopting the Standardization No. 224 concerning the canned beans products as a Syrian Standardization and Metrology.

This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. The Standardization No.224 concerning the broad beans and products shall be adopted as a Syrian Standardization and Metrology (art. 1). Provisions and rules of Law No. 158 of 1960 on fraud and deceit will be applied on every violation of this Resolution (art. 2). Conditions and requirements necessary for broad beans are the following: field of application; ingredients; package; label; analysis method; sample; principle ingredients and high quality; food additives; sanitary conditions and technical terms.
