Resolution No. 9/W of 14 February 2007 establishing the Biocontrol Studies and Researches Centre.

This Resolution is composed of 12 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with objectives of the Centre which are the following: carrying out agricultural studies and researches for the reinforcement of the biocontrol strategy against agricultural epidemics and diseases; modernization and development of applied methods and researches which are compatible with the environment; development and breeding of anti-biological and antibiotics to be used instead of pesticides and chemical poisons; supporting and encouragement of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform to use the biocontrol; realization of sane and safety agricultural products; satisfaction of healthily, environmental, safety and national needs and considerations; offering experiences and consultations related to plant protection; and, training and capacity building. Articles 4 to 11 provide for the management and internal organization of the Centre.
