Abstract
The Minister may dispose of Crown lands by grant, sale, lease or otherwise in such manner and on such conditions as he may deem advisable, and may grant any Crown land in exchange for any other land or interest therein. All rights to precious or base metals, precious stones, minerals or mineral products shall be excluded from the grant, sale, lease or other disposal of Crown lands. The Minister may resume for public purposes the whole or any part of any land alienated under this Act, subject to the payment of a compensation determined upon agreement between the Minister and the grantee or lessee. The Minister may make roads, dams, water-courses and drains and any other work that he may deem necessary for the benefit of the public. The Registrar of Deeds shall keep special registers where all leases of Crown land shall be registered.
