Abstract
These Regulations, among others, provides the stock diseases; inspection of branding of cattle for export; amount payable for inspection and branding; importation of stock; movement of stock within Swaziland; inspection of stock; prohibition of exhibition and public sale of stock; disinfecting of public markets; dipping and cleansing of stock; right of entry upon private property; government dipping tanks; compulsory construction and use of dipping tanks; exemption from dipping; inoculation of stock; post-mortems; destruction of diseased animals and taking of smears; report of death from disease; quarantine of stock; owners to be advised of stock disease; restriction of importation; powers of seizing and detention of stock; powers of seizing and detention of stock; keeping of stock in infected urban areas; branding of stock in infected areas; branding of stock in infected areas; duty to report death, etc. of stock in infected areas; infected areas; impounding of stock suspected to be or infected; exportation and importation of carcasses; “stock” to include game; authority to move stock; prohibition against spread of disease and infection; declaration of guard areas; declaration of scheduled areas and offences in connection therewith; branding and marking of stock; erection etc. of fences; permits issued for moving stock; duty to furnish returns of stock; compliance with regulations where no local representative; returns by local authorities; inspection and enumeration of stock; exemption of such authorized persons; decisions of director of veterinary services be final; offences and penalties; recovering expense; special regulations for certain diseases; and food and mouth disease.
