Abstract
This Act is enacted to organize welfare for people with low incomes to reduce economic and social inequality, distribute income fairly, as well as elevate and develop the quality of life of the people sustainably, with joint operations between the government, private sector, and citizens.
The Welfare Committee for the Grassroots Economy and Society shall be eatablished (art.4). Article 8 provides for the Committee's duties and powers, including: propose policy, operational plan, measures or projects related to welfare that provide livelihood assistance and increase the potential of people with low incomes according to the State Welfare Registration Project; Establish a database of low-income people who have passed the qualification examination; etc.
