Announcement of the Board of Investment No. Sor. 10/2547 Re: Additional Rights and Benefits for Activities Related to the Production of Alternative Energy.

This Announcement affirms that it is deemed appropriate to grant additional rights and benefits to businesses that produce alcohol or fuel from agricultural products, and production of electricity or steam power. Manufacture of alcohol or fuel from agricultural products is classified as a priority activity of special importance and benefit to the country. The projects will not be subject to the cap on the amount of corporate income tax exemption.
