Abstract
This Act aims to facilitate cross-border operations while maintaining legal compliance and cooperation between Thailand and its contracting partners. The Act defines cross-border transport as the importation, exportation, or transit of animals, plants, or objects across borders, as well as the movement of people and vehicles at immigration checkpoints and border areas.
The Act provides for the responsibilities and procedures for officers of the Thai government and those of contracting states in joint controlled areas. The Act also allows for the implementation of procedures by officers from contracting states within Thailand, provided they comply with established agreements and present proper identification card.
