Abstract
This Act is enacted to ensure that employees are treated fairly and provided with adequate protections in the workplace. The updated Labour Protection Act B.E. 2541 contains provisions related to various aspects of labour protection, including weekly, traditional, and annual holidays, paid sick leave, wage payment for employees, the maximum number of working hours per day and per week, etc. The Act also includes provisions related to termination of employment, severance pay, and compensation for work-related injuries or illnesses.
