Abstract
These Ministerial Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Maritime Labor Act B.E. 2558 (2015).
The ship owner shall take steps to ensure occupational safety and health for seafarers, including: (1) Prepare policies and plans for occupational safety and health on ships; (2) Carry out work related to danger identification, assess risk and develop appropriate safety operations plans; (3) Investigate accidents that occur in order to determine measures to correct and prevent them; etc. The ship owner shall arrange for a report in the case of disease resulting from working on a ship to the Seafarer Standards Division, Marine Department without delay. Ship owners must provide training and provide knowledge to seafarers regarding occupational safety and health on ships before the ship leaves port. and record such training in the ship's log book.
